GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 3 CONTINUES ITS PHASE 4 MAIN TREND
Continuing the popular MCU Phase 4 trend, recent set photos have revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will feature a wide variety of comic costumes.
Recall that in the early MCU films, costumes often had to be changed during their transfer from the original comics to the screen for a variety of reasons.
Some of the changes were practical, such as the removal of Hawkeye's famous mask, or the gradual softening of the wings on Captain America's helmet. Other changes were based on a desire to stylize the costume by making it realistic. To fit in with the early, mundane themes of the MCU,
many costumes had to be more tactical and darker. Once, the Hawkeye performer even joked about this trend, pointing out that his character's early black costume had a strategic function, but did nothing to make him stand out as a superhero.
Based on recent photos from the set, it has been revealed that
that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will join the trend. And while little is currently known about the script for the third film in the franchise, behind-the-scenes shots have shown what some of the characters and their costumes will look like. For example, in some of the photographs, Star-Lord is dressed in his recognizable red-
a blue suit with a catchy Ravager emblem on the chest. Although Guardians of the Galaxy has already had a good look in its previous appearances, the new updated style shows the direction of change not only for the franchise, but also for Phase 4.
