​​TOM CRUISE RESPONDED TO 'TOP GHANA' BOX BOOKINGS

Actor Tom Cruise responded to the massive box office success of the Top Gun sequel in its opening weekend by thanking all fans for their warm support for the sequel. In the long-awaited sequel to Tony Scott and Cruise's 1986 cult film, the protagonist returns to the role of master pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.
The film was released on May 27, 2022 after many long delays, which did not stop it from becoming a success.

More than 36 years after audiences were first introduced to the dynamic, engaging and breathtaking abilities of American naval aviator Pete Mitchell,
the pilot returned to the big screen in Top Gun: Maverick. And although the main character did his best to avoid promotion for many years, he was still assigned to train a new generation of pilots.

In a brief statement posted on social media, Tom Cruise addressed the sequel's impressive box office performance.
The actor thanked the fans for coming to see the film in theaters, as well as for their warm support for the film and for helping it break all the records. Check out Cruz's comment below:
