Ever since Tom Hardy and Furiosa Charlize Theron's reimagined Max, fans have been clamoring for a return to Mad Max: Fury Road's famous apocalyptic wasteland. A sequel to the film, possibly titled Mad Max: Wasteland, was announced after the release of Mad Max: Fury Road.
and Miller himself even announced that the elaborated script was ready. Since then, however, it has been difficult to get any concrete news about the film. Due to delays resulting from a legal dispute between Warner Bros. Miller, the production of the long-awaited prequel "Furiosa",
as well as Tom Hardy's very busy filming schedule, many fans are already wondering if Mad Max: Wasteland will come out?

A recent report from Variety finally has some new information on Mad Max 5: The Wasteland. But, unfortunately, it does not look like the project will appear in the near future. And at least a fifth, of course,
has not been canceled entirely, the sequel has no release window, and there is currently no word on whether Tom Hardy will reprise his role. Read Miller's comment on this:
