Apple updates rules for cryptocurrencies and NFTs in its App Store
Yesterday, the Californian company published a new set of rules for regulating applications in the App Store. Among other things, two particularly important sections (3.1.1) and 3.1.3(g) have appeared.
The first one says that now applications are allowed to trade non-fungible tokens (NFTs), however, their purchase must necessarily occur only through the internal Apple payment system, that is, with a commission of 30%. At the same time, Apple is ready to cooperate with licensed exchanges.
The second says that now Digital purchases must also be made through the Apple payment system with a commission of 30%. Apple specifically noted that this concerns the promotion of posts on social networks (Twitter, VK, etc.), that is, simple advertising.
