In a recent interview with The Today Show, actor Chris Pratt confirmed that Reign will be the last film in the Jurassic franchise. The performer compared the ending to "fireworks", sharing that he feels like "the whole picture is made up of it." After that, Chris Pratt openly stated that "Dominance" is "the finale of the franchise."
When the actor was asked if this would indeed be the last film of the story, Pratt reiterated that he did think it would be the final, indicating that the way his character's stories fit in with the film's cast is very similar to the story's final ending. Read Chris Pratt's full statement below:
“You seem to be going to a real fireworks display. This is similar to what you might see on the 4th of July or New Year's Eve. There is always an ending to the story. It's like you're waiting for it, and then BOOM, and you're like, “yes, that's it! This is the real ending! I feel that the whole film is in this, because it took 30 years to create. And this is the sixth film about the Jurassic period. This will definitely be the end of the entire franchise.
I really think this is the final. You have everything for this, including heritage actors and performers of modern films. Everyone agreed. And even our storylines converge in a way that feels like the end of the story."
