NETFLIX WILL EXPAND THE WITCHER UNIVERSE
Aside from the upcoming spin-off of the hit series The Witcher, dubbed The Witcher: Origins, slated for release this December, streaming service Netflix has decided to go further and further expand the universe that tells the events of the world created by Andrzej Sapkowski.
According to available information,
Netflix is working on a series about a gang of young criminals who became known as the Rats Gang. In the original sources, they appear in Ciri's story when she becomes part of this team at a certain point in her life.
In the 3rd season, the Rats will appear in episodes 7 and 8 when Ciri first sees them on her way.
Some sources believe that their influence will increase in the 4th season of the series. It is between these two seasons that a spin-off will be released to interest the viewer.
