There was very little info available about our help-to-earn donation system, here is a detailed walkthrough on how it works.

You complete our daily tasks in all three game modes and are required to share a small portion (1%) of your earnings with certain animal welfare organizations.
We made it customizable — you can adjust both the percentage donated, as well as choose the organizations you want to support.

Under a short description of how the IguVerse charity system works, you can see a slider that allows you to choose the percentage of your daily rewards that you want to share. By moving it you are able to increase your donation size up to 100 percent of your earnings! Scroll down a bit and you will learn about the organizations you can select and choose the ones you want to donate to. Every organization does something different. Read carefully and let your heart decide which ones you think you really need to support.

Today we’ll continue the update run with the discussion of the third mechanic you’ll be able to enjoy in our game.

First, let’s go through the setup. Remember — you’re after energy here. It keeps your virtual pet happy and is convertible to tokens. The energy can be generated through three game modes: socialize-to-earn, move-to-earn and play-to-earn. They all form our daily pool of obtainable energy in different proportions. The idea is that you can get enough energy through each of them, but you need to use the other options as well to max out.

Okay, so you minted your NFT and decided to go with our game first. You open it and find out that you are in control of an Iguana, which is trying to get all the food in this game world, but faces obstacles on its way. Naturally, it is ready to flex its jumping abilities and get those fruits. With your help, of course!

The gameplay is very intuitive, so you won’t find it hard to immerse yourself into the game when playing for the first time. After a while, some annoying bush gets in the way and you have to stop. You look around and notice how sleek and non-invasive the interface is — we worked hard to make you feel comfortable playing the game.

There is no stopping us from continuing exploring our elaborately designed game mechanics! This time, we are going to talk about the Move-to-Earn concept, which has become rather popular in the sphere of GameFi. While most projects out there aren't after any experiments, we are brave enough to give the good old move-to-earn a new form — turn walking your pet or just having a stroll in a fun and rewarding adventure!

Our version of move-to-earn is specifically designed for pet-walking. The basic idea is that you can replenish your in-game energy (move-to-earn accounts for 15 percent of daily energy pool) by doing physical activity — in our case, it's plain-old walking. You've got a fixed amount of time where you should move continuously and with a speed higher than a certain threshold. Obviously, you don't need to have a pet for that, so you all pet lover guys can participate by walking your virtual pet, taking a stroll or even running — there is no speed limit in place.

On the technical side, we are using GPS and gyroscope data to track your walking, so no cheaters will bamboozle us.

Our app release is soon and it’s time to discuss our in-game economy — the utility of $IGU and $IGUP tokens.

$IGU is the governing token of the game, controlling the economy flow and giving you the access to the game. Now we’ll have a more detailed look at its utilities:

• Governance. We are planning to create a DAO through which you’ll be making major decisions. Considering how big our project is going to be — we aim to bring millions of users into Web3 — there will be a lot of demand for $IGU from users who want to be a part of the decision-making process for such a huge game!
• $ IGU Staking! According to our analysis, retention numbers should be quite high and staking should prevent selling pressure.
• You will also be able to mint your NFTs 2.0 with $IGU! We turned the minting process into a burn mechanism for our tokens. Imagine thousands and later millions of users burning up to 30% of $IGU with every NFT they mint — this buying pressure coupled with the other utilities and the limited supply of just 400kk tokens will make $IGU one of the most valuable crypto assets. Now it’s $IGUP’s turn — this is the main in-game currency used both for rewarding users and in-game purchases. So, let’s see what it’s all about:

The idea of socialize-to-earn is revolutionary exactly because it lets you monetize your social media!

Now let’s talk our app business!
After the shenanigans with your account and wallet, after minting your unique NFT, you can finally play the game! The setup is simple — your pet needs energy to survive and you will be getting some each day with the ability to exchange it for tokens. There are a variety of mechanics in our app that let you get energy: socialize-to-earn, move-to-earn and play-to-earn. As socialize-to-earn is our most anticipated and most innovative game mechanic, let’s see how you can replenish some of your energy with it.

Having opened the daily tasks menu, you will see that there are two kinds of tasks. You already own our NFT, why not flex it on social media? You’ll share a photo of your pet with your PetID visible in the pic (there’s even a prompt which reminds you to add your PetID — don’t be afraid that you can forget). PetID is just a tiny strip in the corner of your photo, so it won’t spoil your glorious composition. For now, you can either share the photo on Instagram and on TikTok,but there are more social media options to come.
Once all is done, other players will be trying to find your PetID-enhanced photo and verify its existence. A consensus of four people is needed to get your well-deserved energy points. It’s a nice boost of energy, but you might want to earn more! And of course, you can be the hunter. You will get energy from verifying other people’s pics, as they did with yours. Still, we have a limit in place: you can only share your PetId once and verify other users 4 times. We don’t want you to get hooked on the game!
