Ситуация на мировом крипторынке остается сложной и нестабильной. На этой неделе негативных настроений добавила Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам США (SEC).

5-го июня SEC подала в суд на биткоин-биржу Binance и ее CEO Чанпэна Чжао. Регулятор США выдвинул 13 обвинений, включая незарегистрированные предложения, продажи токенов BNB и BUSD, продукты Simple Earn, BNB Vault и стейкинг.

Позднее, 7-го июня, SEC подала ходатайство о заморозке цифровых активов американского подразделения Binance.US, находящихся на хранении у биржи.

За 2 дня после выдвижения SEC обвинений против Binance биткоин-балансы последней сократились на 10 500 BTC. В долларовом выражении вывод эквивалентен $277 млн.

Спустя день после начала разбирательств с Binance, Комиссия по ценным бумагам и биржам США подала аналогичный иск против криптобиржи Coinbase. На фоне этой жалобы акции криптобиржи за несколько часов просели на 19% — с $58 до $47. Большинство цифровых активов из списка претензий SEC также продемонстрировали отрицательную динамику.

2023-06-09 14:14:26 THE UNITED STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) SUED BINANCE AND COINBASE

The situation in the global crypto market remains complex and unstable. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) added to the negative sentiment this week.

On June 5, the SEC sued bitcoin exchange Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao. The U.S. regulator brought 13 charges, including unregistered offers and sales of BNB and BUSD tokens, Simple Earn and BNB Vault products and stacking.

Later, on June 7th, the SEC filed a motion to freeze the digital assets of Binance.US held by the exchange.

Binance bitcoin holdings shrank by 10,500 BTC within two days of the SEC filing its charges. In dollar terms the withdrawal is equivalent to $277 million.

A day after the start of the proceedings against Binance, the SEC filed a similar lawsuit against the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Against the backdrop of this complaint, the cryptocurrency exchange's stock plummeted 19% in a few hours, from $58 to $47. Most of the digital assets on the SEC's list of claims also showed negative dynamics.
