Credential requirements before getting started: Verified Email Address AND Mobile Number registered with Bitfinex - Two Factor Authentication Setup on Bitfinex - Minimum of $10 worth of Bitcoin or Ethereum(Which one you would like to use as collateral)
You can get verified and setup two factor authentication at bitfinex.com. We will be using this account for all future steps, so make sure to write down your username and password! Also please backup your 2FA secret key and keep it somewhere safe (I recommend putting it in a secure password manager like Lastpass or Dashlane).
Once you're logged into the website, navigate to Account Tab -> Funding -> USD -> Deposit . You will see three options: Type Amount BTC 1 BCH 3 LTC 10 ETH 0.1 XMR 0 DASH 1 DOGE 100 GNO 20 ZEC 0 SC 300 SYNX 100 PPC 5 SYS 10 BLK 40 FAIR 10
I deposited .5 BTC to get started. Type in the amount you want to deposit and hit "Deposit". Note: You can also use this same process to deposit other cryptocurrencies.
You will be given a bitcoin deposit address. Copy this and paste it into your wallet. Send the desired amount of bitcoin to this address and wait for the transactions to be confirmed (should take about 15-30 minutes).
Once the transactions are confirmed, navigate to Account Tab -> Funding -> USD -> Withdraw . This is where we will be withdrawing our RAY tokens!
Type in the amount of RAY you would like to withdraw and hit "Withdraw" (I withdrew 100 RAY). You will be asked to provide a withdrawal address. This is the address we will be sending our RAY tokens to. Paste it into the text field and hit "Submit".
You will then be asked to provide a memo. This is just a note to yourself so you can remember what the withdrawal was for. I entered "RAYDIUM TEST WITHDRAWAL" and hit "Submit".
Wait for the transaction to be confirmed and you'll have your RAY tokens! You can now use them to take out loans or margin trade.
