MIKE MYERS KIDS DON'T LIKE SHREK

Mike Myers has stated that his children are not particularly impressed with him voicing the animated Shrek character and that they do not like the cartoon.

The actor has achieved huge success thanks to the popular franchise from DreamWorks, which launched in 2001 and launched a series of several sequels. In addition, the project spawned several spin-offs, video releases
, games and even the musical "Shrek", released in 2008.

While the Shrek franchise may be considered one of the biggest successes of Myers' extensive career, it has clearly failed to impress the critics that matter most to him - his own children. According to CBR, the 58-year-old actor recently discussed what his children were watching. Amazing
but "Shrek" did not make the same impression on them as it did on the audience at the very beginning of the 2000s. While acknowledging that the kids were intrigued to find holes in the cartoon's plot, Meyers stated:

“They only love The Cat in the Hat. The older child saw Austin Powers. But they didn't like Shrek. And this is absolutely true.
But they are typical modern New York kids. You know, they're like, "We don't like what other people like." They're like a crowd that thinks they're cool. But when they really like something, they forget about everything. Spike even memorized one line from Austin Powers. My youngest is not a fan. She's one of the cool New Yorkers. Child".
