Actor Colin Firth says that, in his own opinion, "Mamma Mia! 3" may well launch a few more sequels. Recall that the first released in 2008, the musical with the compositions of the ABBA group, quickly became popular among viewers and critics. The film stars Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep as the mother-daughter duo.
The plot follows Sophie as she struggles to discover the identity of her real father days before her marriage.

In a recent interview with GMA, Firth arguably revealed that he really wants to return for a third installment, sharing that he believes "it could very well happen" while looking forward to a fourth and fifth film.
Echoing a number of previous comments from his co-stars, the actor said it ultimately comes down to the will of the audience, but expressed his excitement about rejoining the film's cast. Read Firth's words below.
