Giovanni Ribisi, star of the Avatar sequel, spoke about the scope of the sequel. Over the years, the original film, released in 2009, has remained the highest-grossing film of all time.

Fans have been patiently waiting for the promised sequel, announced by director James Cameron back in 2010. Despite the delay, the stars of the first film,
including those that were involved in the background, return to their roles.

Screen Rant had the opportunity to speak with Giovanni Ribisi while he was promoting Paramount+'s biographical miniseries The Proposal, which also stars Miles Teller, Juno Temple and Matthew Goode.
The series tells about the creation of the cult film "The Godfather".

When the interview turned to his return to the popular franchise after many years, the actor exclaimed that he was "thrilled" by the release of new films. He stated that they were going to do a few more parts almost at the same time. Read the full quote below:
“I am very excited about the release of the sequel. I think that the sequel will appear this year and the trilogy will be completed next year. After that we are going to make at least two films. But yes, he really uses everything that was in the first part, bringing the story to a whole new level. What we did - and I'm sure
that there will be many more interesting stories - just as incredible as the story of the first film.
