Not so long ago, rumors appeared on the network that a sequel to The Exchange Vacation is currently in development. They became known to both Nancy Meyers and Kate Winslet. Winslet, who played one of the central roles,
gave a negative response to talk about a possible continuation. Her words were confirmed by Meyers, who turned to the subscribers of her social media accounts, saying that she was not working on a sequel.
