Universal Music Group has taken action against the viral AI generated song featuring Drake & The Weeknd's 'vocals,' with the RIAA removing all instances of the song from every social and streaming platform on the Internet.
UMG called it fraud, asking "which side of history all stakeholders in the music ecosystem want to be on: the side of artists, fans and human creative expression, or on the side of deep fakes, fraud and denying artists their due compensation."
