Pantera Capital CEO: "Bitcoin is in a new bull market" The CEO of a U.S. hedge fund stated in a report to investors that after "a period of temporary insanity" that involved Chinese bans on cryptocurrency and a heated debate on the environmental impact of Proof-of-Work,
now Bitcoin is "in a new bull market". Still, Dan Morehead noted there might be an event that
could reverse the uptrend: the Bitcoin ETF launch. He recalled the CME futures launch and the Coinbase stock listing on Nasdaq, both events that, despite bullish expectations, led to long cycles of bear markets (Bitcoin crashed 83% and 53%, respectively):
"On Wall Street, there’s a saying “Buy the rumor, sell the fact.” Definitely working in crypto space." It definitely works in the crypto space."
