Indian crypto exchange WazirX was accused of money laundering. Within a week, trading volume on the exchange dropped by 54%.

In 2019, Binance announced in its blog about the acquisition of WazirX, but the CEO of Binance CZ states that the deal was not completed because the WazirX team did not hand over the management of operations.
