Over the past 13 hours, the fintech giant Ripple has moved a huge number of XRP tokens to Binance, Ripple, Bitstamp and other unknown addresses and back, after which the price of XRP increased from $0.33 to $0.35, writes Coinedition.
500 million XRP tokens have been moved by Ripple, according to recent Whale Alert tweets tracking the blockchain. Over the past day to date, XRP has grown by more than 4%.
Among the largest movements, 6 tranches were observed, including the 2 largest — 214,000,000 XRP in the amount of $73,525,151 and 100,000,000 XRP in the amount of $34,004,188. The Binance crypto exchange moved a large amount of XRP between its internal wallets.
Whale Alert reported that 33.5 million XRP out of 100 million tokens were sent to another Ripple wallet. The remaining 480 million were transferred to an "unknown" address in tranches of 36,000,000.
