Major Ethereum holders actively bought up one altcoin According to WhaleStats service, the largest holders (whales) of Ethereum cryptocurrency (ETH) actively bought up one little-known altcoin last week. We are talking about Solana-based decentralized finance (DeFi) project - Serum.
The analytics service noted that the top 100 ETH wallets bought Serum (SRM) for an average of more than $1.9 million in the last 7 days.
Interest in the cryptocurrency startup coincided as Chainlink, Shiba Inu and other altcoins, previously popular with whales, have fallen significantly in price recently. Meanwhile, user interest in Serum has increased several times over, as last week whales averaged only $237k in purchases of the asset.
SRM ranks 160th on the list of all cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization at $331.17 million.
