Forbes added seven new names to the list of crypto-billionairesChangpeng Zhao, the founder and head of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance,
still leads the ranking of cryptocurrency billionaires and is the 19th richest person in the world according to Forbes. Zhao's fortune dropped from an estimated $96 billion to $65 billion in 2021.
Second place went to
Sam Bankman-Fried, founder and CEO of the FTX exchange, with a net worth of $24 billion.
Coinbase CEO and founder Brian Armstrong, with his $6.6 billion capital, was third on the ranking agency's list.
FTX co-founder and chief technology officer
Gary Wang with $5.6 billion appeared among the newcomers to the rankings.
In addition, South Korean exchange
Upbit founder Song Chi-Hyung, whose fortune is reportedly $3.7 billion, appeared in the ranking.
