Social Content Creator at RepubliK

RepubliK is empowering content creators through a blockchain-powered self-sustaining virtual economy that is built into a social content platform.

What this means in practice is that Republik enables content creators to offer various experiences such as Contests, P2P Live Streaming, Pay-to-Chat, Pay-to-View, Phygital Storefront, Private/Public Concerts with DRM, etc. through the powerful creator tools we offer them on a single platform; no more switching between tools.

Every content creator will finally have control over their income through blockchain primitives such as smart-contracts, tokens, & tokenization, without losing out the earning potential which they have historically had through centralised platforms such as Instagram, TikTok etc.

Responsibilities:
Videography, Video Production, Video Editing, Social Content Development
Produce TikTok videos for both organic and sponsored content
Film, edit with a strong sense of comedic timing and cuts
Work closely with Creative Director to film funny skits, trend jacking content, and more at the office, using coworkers and creator collaborators as characters
Innovate and experiment with new content formats for REPUBLIK website and social pages
Work with the REPUBLIK family to bring ideas to life

Requirements:
PASSIONATE about video and adaptable to changes in strategy, brand direction, etc.
Detail-oriented and well organized
A firm understanding of filming equipment. Most content can be filmed on iPhone but we may use DSLR to bring quality to next level. Must understand lenses, manual DSLR filming settings, shutter speed vs frame rate settings, audio equipment, etc.
Passionate and has strong knowledge of pop culture. Familiar with content trends
Willing to learn quickly on-the-job and adapt to changes
Familiar with working with almost every content creation format out there: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite & Design templates in Canva, InShot, Mojo, TikTok, Instagram, and FB
Have a positive attitude to do any kind of work given to you no matter how small or large
Very hardworking and hungry to keep learning
Responsible and takes ownership of work... Constantly iterating and looking to evolve their work to the next level!
