Пресс-служба торговой платформы Binance сообщила, что служба майнингового пула Binance Pool приняла решение о добавлении виртуальной валюты Ravencoin (RVN) в список поддерживаемых токенов. Это связано с тем, что многочисленные добытчики стали искать альтернативные варианты заработка после того, как сеть Ethereum сменила алгоритм с Proof-of-Work на Proof-of-Stake.
Представители площадки рассказали, что сервис майнинга RavenCoin (RVN), будет использовать метод расчетов PPS+. Комиссия за добычу цифрового актива установлена на уровне 1%.
Аналитики отметили: в сентябре сеть Ethereum переключилась на Proof-of-Stake (PoS), избавившись от необходимости майнинга с большим объемом вычислений в пользу процесса доказательства доли владения. Майнеры, которые использовали графические процессоры (GPU) для получения доходов, оказались в затруднительном положении.
Им пришлось в срочном порядке перенастраивать свое оборудование и переключаться на майнинг других криптовалютных активов. Самыми популярными вариантами стали монеты Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ravencoin и Beam (BEAM).
Согласно последним данным сервиса Coinwarz, вычислительная мощность сети Ravencoin выросла примерно в пять раз с тех пор, как Ethereum перешла на PoS. При этом столь высокая активность майнеров поспособствовала тому, что встроенный механизм сети автоматически повысил сложность добычи виртуального актива. Таким образом многие компании с менее эффективным оборудованием и высокими затратами на потребление энергии были вытеснены с рынка ввиду нерентабельности бизнеса.

Representatives of the site said that the RavenCoin (RVN) mining service will use the PPS + calculation method. The digital asset mining fee is set at 1%.
Analysts noted that in September, the Ethereum network switched to Proof-of-Stake (PoS), eliminating the need for computationally intensive mining in favor of a proof-of-stake process. Miners who used graphics processing units (GPUs) to generate income found themselves in a quandary.
They had to urgently reconfigure their equipment and switch to mining other cryptocurrency assets. The most popular options are Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ravencoin and Beam (BEAM) coins.
According to the latest data from the Coinwarz service, the computing power of the Ravencoin network has grown by about five times since Ethereum switched to PoS. At the same time, such a high activity of miners contributed to the fact that the built-in network mechanism automatically increased the complexity of mining a virtual asset. Thus, many companies with less efficient equipment and high energy consumption costs were forced out of the market due to the unprofitability of the business.
