AntPool временно остановит поддержку Ethereum перед обновлением

Сервис рекомендовал пользователям до этой даты добавить адрес ETH-кошелька в аккаунт для получения добытых монет. Команда пояснила, что не сможет поддерживать активы в PoS-цепочке.
AntPool продолжит предоставлять услуги майнинга для пользователей, которые планируют добывать Ethereum Classic (ETC) и другие Ethash-токены.
«Будучи одним из крупнейших пулов PoW-майнинга, AntPool выступает за децентрализованный консенсус Proof-of-Work от Сатоши Накамото и полностью поддерживает токены BTC, ETC и другие», — говорится в заявлении.
В июле сервис анонсировал инвестиции в размере $10 млн в экосистему Ethereum Classic. В начале того же месяца Bitmain начала продажи ASIC-майнера Antminer E9 для добычи ETH/ETC.
В августе крупнейший в сети Ethereum майнинговый пул Ethermine заявил, что не поддержит ни один из потенциальных PoW-форков. Структура предложила пользователям с 15 сентября переключиться на майнинг ETC и других доступных криптовалют.
Ранее в JPMorgan допустили, что ETC станет главным бенефициаром притока майнеров после перехода Ethereum на PoS.

AntPool will temporarily stop supporting Ethereum before the update

The service recommended that users before this date add an ETH wallet address to their account in order to receive mined coins. The team clarified that it would not be able to maintain assets on the PoS chain.
AntPool will continue to provide mining services for users who plan to mine Ethereum Classic (ETC) and other Ethash tokens.
“As one of the largest PoW mining pools, AntPool stands for Satoshi Nakamoto’s decentralized Proof-of-Work consensus and fully supports BTC, ETC and other tokens,” the statement said.
In July, the service announced a $10 million investment in the Ethereum Classic ecosystem. At the beginning of the same month, Bitmain began selling the Antminer E9 ASIC miner for ETH/ETC mining.
In August, Ethermine, the largest mining pool on the Ethereum network, announced that it would not support any of the potential PoW forks. The structure offered users to switch to mining ETC and other available cryptocurrencies from September 15th.
Earlier, JPMorgan admitted that ETC will become the main beneficiary of the influx of miners after the transition of Ethereum to PoS.
